Bay windows are characterised by their designs protruding from the main walls of the room. With the windows angled away from your home, the space in your room instantly feels bigger. They are created using casement windows which are connected using a strong, structural bay pole assembly or corner posts, and are available in a range of colours.
These windows can also be used to incorporate stylish seating areas that provide the ideal place to settle down and take in the beautiful views. Using the latest technology, we can achieve the angle that is perfect for your home, creating any combination of windows for you.
At Northwich Glass, our uPVC bay & bow windows create an elegant and attractive external feature in any property, while internally creating a sense of space and light. Our aluminium bay & bow windows are just as classy, and will add a bespoke character to your home, combining a timeless bay design with slim sightlines, bringing an enhanced element of elegance to the outside of your property.

Get in TouchThe biggest difference between the two is that a bay window will always have a base to it, whereas a bow typically doesn’t. Instead, bow windows usually have a timber constructed base with a gallows bracket.
Bay and bow windows can vary massively in price. This is due to many factors such as the frame quality, window U-values, the size of the bay, and the type of window selected.
The depth of a bay window depends on the angle it protrudes from the house. Most 30-degree bay windows are 12 to 14 inches deep, while 45-degree units range from 16 to 22 inches deep.
